Dr Zovinar Der Khatchadourian

Dr Zovinar graduated from Dentistry in 1994 from McGill University followed by completion of a one-year general practice residency at the Montreal General Hospital where she further developed her skills in advanced dentistry as well as dental management of medically compromised patients. In 2011 she took a sabbatical year to obtain a fellowship in Orofacial pain from the University of Kentucky where she developed advanced skills in the evaluation, diagnosis and management of TMJ and oral-facial pain conditions including dental management in sleep apnea and snoring.
She divides her time between private practice and academics. Since 2012 occupies a part-time Faculty position at McGill University’s Faculty of Dentistry where she teaches TMJ and oral-facial pain to dental students and medical residents both within the faculty and at the Alan Edwards Pain Management Unit. She is also involved in pain research and provides dental continuing education lectures on a regular basis through various dental associations and McGill’s Continuing Dental Education program.
She served on the executive committee of the Société Dentaire de Laval from 2001 until 2024, a fellow at the Pierre Fauchard Academy, and member of various dental associations such as the American Academy of Orofacial Pain and the American Academy of Dental sleep Medicine.

Dr Anyk Plaisance

Having always been interested in health sciences, Dr. Plaisance has chosen dentistry as her career. She has completed her studies in dental medicine at the University of Montreal in 2021. To further her training, she pursued her education by completing a one-year residency program within the NYU Langone facilities in New York City.

Back in her hometown, Dr. Plaisance joined the Centre Dentaire Laval team to put her knowledge to use; from routine dental check-ups to more complex treatments. She is also a member of the ODQ, ACDQ and Société Dentaire Laval, which helps her acquire additional knowledge on various dental subdisciplines and helps her stay abreast of the latest developments in oral medicine. Dr. Plaisance’s primary goals are to provide the best dental care tailored to your individual needs and to bring a smile to your face.
